wyddes The Realm is an online game that I play a lot. It is really the only online game I bother with. My character is Wyddes, shown at left. Her name came from The Character Naming Sourcebook that I own, which is a reference for writers and contains thousands of names. I created a character named Arglwyddes (Welsh for "lady" and pronounced "oo-ee-th-ess" with the TH sounds as in the word "Them" NOT "with"), but decided to shorten the name because usually I like short names for characters, easier to type out for people. So I thought "Wyddes" was as good as any, and now she is my main character. As of today, November 23, 1998 she is level 150, and wears her yellow baldric with pride.Scooby Lover She is a wizard with GrandMaster Elementalism, GrandMaster Thaumaturgy, GrandMaster Meditation, GrandMaster Sorcery and GrandMaster Necromancy. She is handy with a throwing dagger, and is very intelligent thanks to 2 rings of Intelligence she found in Lesser Hive. Her friend Royale also gave her an Amulet of Intelligence. Wyddes has recently learned how to perm and enchant items, and is very excited about it. In the first week of September Wyddes lost about 10 levels, after being killed 3 times in one day by Fuloran.

Wyddes has been through Festering Hate Pool, Holy Caves, and The Undead Stronghold quite a few times. Despite having killed countless Guardians, her alignment remains saintly!
Wyddes has just learned how to use two handed weapons, and in the future wants to become proficient in Armor and Weapon Smithing. She owns three experience baubles, which she will gladly sell for the right price.
